What is THC anyways?
THC is a cannabinoid that is found in hemp and marijuana. THC is psychoactive, which is where you get the ‘high’ that is usually associated with marijuana. There is no difference in THC derived from hemp versus marijuana—though only hemp-derived THC beverages and edibles may be sold in liquor stores.
Is THC really legal?
YES! Hemp-derived Delta 9 THC is legal in all states as long as each product contains less than .3% Delta 9 THC. This means that products made from hemp, such as hemp-derived Delta 9 THC Tinctures and Delta 9 THC Gummies are legal to purchase and consume in all 50 states. Despite the fact that hemp-derived Delta 9 THC Tincture is legal, there is still a lot of confusion about it. This is because marijuana and hemp are both cannabis plants, and many people don’t know the difference between them. Marijuana plants have high levels of Delta 9 THC, the psychoactive compound that causes a “high.” Hemp plants, on the other hand, have very low levels of Delta 9 THC and high levels of CBD.
What can first-time users expect?
We always recommend new users start low and go slow: start with 5mg and wait to see how you feel before consuming more. Everyone reacts to THC a little differently. Some people feel more relaxed, others more social, creative, or some even experience pain relief. Your dose, tolerance level, and metabolism can all impact how THC affects you.
What’s the right THC dosage for me?
No matter your curiosity or familiarity level, there’s a THC product that’s right for you. We always recommend that new dabblers start low and go slow.
Curious, but never tried THC:
If you’ve never had THC, one 5mg THC serving will feel like 2-3 alcoholic drinks. We recommend trying just half a beverage and waiting to see how it affects you before finishing your drink.
Occasionally partakes in THC:
If you occasionally partake, one 5mg THC serving will feel like 1-2 alcoholic drinks.
Frequent THC user
For more frequent flyers, you may not feel anything from one 5mg THC serving. One 10mg serving might better achieve the affect you’re after.
How quickly and how long will I feel the effects?
How quickly you’ll feel the effects of THC depend on how you’re consuming it, how it was processed, and your metabolism. You can expect to start feeling the effects of nano-emulsified or fast-acting THC, like WLD WTR, in just 15 minutes, or with edibles, it could take up to an hour. The effects may wear off quickly (think an hour or two), or linger quite a bit longer, depending again on your dose, tolerance, and metabolism.
Will I get a hangover?
No way! One of the many beauties of THC is avoiding the ugly side of alcohol consumption: no hangovers, no blackouts, no next-day regrets.
What happens if I mix THC and alcohol?
Enjoying THC and alcohol at the same time can heighten the effects of both substances, meaning you might feel higher with a lower dose than you would if you weren’t drinking alcohol. It’s worth noting that consuming too much THC after or while drinking alcohol can sometimes lead to feeling nauseous. If you’re combining, please be sure to start with a low dose of THC. And while you won’t get a hangover from the THC, it won’t save you from an alcohol-induced hangover.
What's the difference between our beverages and gummies?
Hemp-derived THC beverages and gummies offer different experiences for consumers. WLD WTR beverages provide a refreshing and fast-acting option, with effects typically felt within 15 minutes due to their nano-emulsified THC. These drinks are often low in calories and sugar, making them a healthier alternative. Gummies, on the other hand, offer a more precise dosage control and longer-lasting effects, with onset times up to an hour. They come in various flavors and are more discreet and portable, perfect for on-the-go consumption. While beverages are ideal for quick relaxation or social settings, gummies are better suited for those seeking a more prolonged experience or precise dosing. Both options use high-quality, Minnesota-grown hemp-derived THC, ensuring a consistent and enjoyable experience for users.
What is nano-emulsion?
In short, it helps your body absorb THC faster and taste better. Nano-emulsion technology creates tiny molecules that create a smoother feel, less bitter taste, and helps your body absorb THC faster—meaning you’ll feel the effects sooner.
